I really do have the best couples around! I always have a great time at all of my shoots and Lamar & Mara did not disappoint! When I first met them, I knew they were going to be a fun couple to work with. We laughed and joked during our whole meeting and come engagement shoot time, we laughed our way through the shoot too! Always a good time when your clients have a great sense of humor. Plus we had the most beautiful surroundings with The Palace of Fine Arts for our shoot location. Crowded, yes, but we worked our way around it so it looked as though Mara & Lamar had the whole place to themselves! We definitely got lucky with the weather as well. It was a wet weekend, but luckily it dried up for the shoot and we had some lovely golden bursts of light. After we got some great architectural shots at the Palace of Fine Arts, we took a short walk to the beach at Crissy Field and got some classic shots with the Golden Gate Bridge as our backdrop. Shooting up in San Francisco always reminds me that I don’t shoot up there enough! It’s a bit of a drive, but worth it.
I’m seriously looking forward to shooting their wedding in less than two weeks at the Vintner’s Inn! 🙂
